Story

Hi Everyone,

I’m taking part in “Connor’s Run” to raise money for brain tumour research, care and development (the Robert Connor Dawes Fund.  The run’s in memory of Connor Dawes who died in 2011 at the age of 17 (here in Melbourne) of paediatric brain cancer.  I’d like to ask you to consider sponsoring me, if you are able.

I’ll be doing the 18.8km run from Sandringham (where Connor lived) to the Yarra within a team of 15 other people.  The run is  on the 13th of September.  My team has given ourselves a collective target to raise $5000.  To pull my weight I want to raise at least $350.  Don’t worry – there will be some suffering involved on my part and I will be trying to do a kick-arse time.  It will probably also rain…

Thank you so much, everyone.

Caroline
